Asymmetrical Collage by Juan Aleman

The mediums were loose colored pap are, magazines, and markers. It depicts a multiple images that makes up a Chihuahua's head and then markers to draw the body. The collage depicts the Chihuahua as if he/she were in a park wearing a sweater.
I believed that what was special and successful about this project was the different magazines I use and the two eyes to depict the Chihuahua but also not only making it all about magazines but included pen to demonstrate the body of the Chihuahua.

Extra Credit!

Title: The Bowl

Whats is it made out of?: The bowl is made out of magazine strips. My group put a coat of glaze that secured the paper mache bowl.

This bowl was very successful because we put the bowl up for auction and it sold! this makes the bowl extremely successful.

Xtra Credit Example

Monochromatic Painting by Mr. Bobbs
This acrylic painting is based on a photo of me teaching at a school in Ecuador. In the painting a is student writing on the board and I am behind him checking his work. I only used tints and shades of the color yellow to create this artwork.
I thought this piece was successful because of the lights and darks I was able achieve and I thought I did a good job with the light coming in from the open door behind me and the the shadow it projects in front of me. I am proud of this artwork and I think it encapsulates my role as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ecuador.
